Simon moves in with his mother in an eleven-story building. Troubled by this new life, his senses play tricks on him.

Regia

Originally from Colmar (France), Olivier Lopes Barros grew up in a building located “rue d’Amsterdam” or Amsterdam Street, which inspired him to write his first short film. He trained in editing in Strasbourg and attended various writing workshops at the Agence Culturelle Grand Est. In 2018, he was awarded the fourth prize of the Arte Radio competition with his podcast Saudade, Saudade. In parallel, he embarked on the writing of his first short films, including Hélèna (winner of the Trio residency, SAFIRE writing workshop and Saint-Quirin) and 13 Amsterdam Street (winner of the HLM sur Court 2020 competition).
